The Audit, which adheres to WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and the ISO 14064 standard to offset, was conducted by leading carbon management company co2balance.
As well as providing a total carbon footprint figure for the company, the detailed carbon accounting report details the carbon emissions in different sectors, such as energy, travel, waste and business mileage to allow I & G Cohen to create an action plan to reduce their carbon emissions.
Through evaluating the size of their carbon emissions, the Audit will provide I & G Cohen with the ability to offset their carbon footprint to become a CarbonZero Company and reduce their impact on the environment.
In addition I & G Cohen undertook a Carbon Footprint investigation into their recycling of collected consumer goods and have identified they currently avoid over 15,000 tonnes of waste being sent to landfill sites which is excellent
