Recycled Fashion Show brings pride to local school
following the presentation of the Queens Awards for Enterprise by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester.
The local School in Salford put on a tremendous display. Walking down the cat walk assembled especially for the event, they put on a vibrant and memorable show. All clothes worn were from donated clothing from textile or kerbside collections.
The local school was delighted to give the children the opportunity to take part in the fashion show. The event has also developed interest in recycling within the school and local community. They plan to hold regular recycling events throughout the year.
The fashion show was held at the company premises and attended by local dignitaries including the Lady Mayor, Gary Titley, Labour MEP, Edith Conn, the High Sherriff and Warren Smith, the lord Lieutenant.
